Apologies for the blog going quiet for the last couple of weeks. I've been out of action but normal service should now be resumed.

I made four changes this week. In the centres I've gone for Willem Alberts and Pierre Spies. Alberts has been under the radar but, with one exception, scoring 300+ each week. Spies has been like the Invisible Man on the field but he's been scoring solidly (if unspectacularly) and seems due a big game. I'll replace one of these players with Adam Thomson as soon as this round locks, but haven't decided who it'll be yet.

I played a bit of a wildcard in the halves, picking up Mike Delany who had a very impressive round last week. The match against the Blues should be an open high-scoring affair so I hope he'll have another good round.

My only other change this week was in the backs. Cory Jane's had a relatively quiet competition so far but I fancy the Hurricanes will want to bounce back after last week and the Rebels provide the perfect (soft) target. I expect the Hurricanes backs to run in a few tries before the end of the match and think Jane has a good chance to open his try-scoring account.

The Crusaders have a bye next week so remember to sell any players as soon as the round locks. Next week sees the return of the Highlanders and it'd be a good time to pick up a bargain or two from their ranks.

Good luck everyone!
